HimalEd Scholarship is initiated by the HimalEd Foundation, the HimalEd Scholarship Program supports academically strong students from low socioeconomic backgrounds. The program is made possible through the generosity of donors who share the Foundation’s vision for a more equitable future.
Scholarship Program
We provide scholarships to talented and needy students in Nepal, supported by Nepalese communities and generous global partners. Together, we create lasting educational opportunities that empower students to achieve their dreams and build brighter futures through knowledge.
Professional Development
We enhance education in Nepal by training teachers in English, Math, Science, and other key subjects. Led by academicians from U.S. universities, our programs deliver practical, high-quality learning that equips educators to inspire and uplift their students.
Counselling and Support
We support U.S. college students by guiding their higher education plans and strengthening peer networks. Through cultural exchange and collaboration, we connect them with students in Nepal to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and foster meaningful cross-border learning experiences.
Special Education
Autism in Nepal is under-researched and under-resourced, leading to late diagnoses, limited support, and persistent stigma. HimalEd Foundation is addressing these challenges through awareness programs, training, resource development, and plans for an Autism Resource Center.
