Membership Process
Membership Types: The Foundation shall have three types of members: general members, life members, and honorary members.
General Members:
- Any individual who supports the mission and objectives of The Foundation may apply for general membership. Membership applications are subject to approval by the Executive Committee.
- General members are required to pay a one-time non-refundable application fee of $25 if residing in a developed country, and $5 if residing elsewhere.
- General members are non-voting members of The Foundation.
- The Executive Committee reserves the right to approve or deny the application for general membership.
Life Members:
- Any individual may apply for life membership of The Foundation.
- To be eligible, the individual must first hold general membership.
- A general member may submit an application for life membership using the designated form.
- The Executive Committee will review the applicant’s eligibility and retains the authority to adjudicate the application.
- Life members must pay a one-time non-refundable application fee of $505 if residing in a developed country, or $101 if residing elsewhere. Life membership fee includes the previously paid General Membership fee. Life members have the option to pay the entire membership fee of $505 upfront or in installments: $205 in the first year, $200 in the second year, and in $200 in the third year (total $600).
Honorary Member:
- Any individual who is recognized for outstanding service, philanthropy, or significant contributions to the field of education or to the mission of the Foundation may be granted honorary membership.
- Honorary members are non-voting members of The Foundation.
