Dr. Tika Lamsal

 Dr. Tika Lamsal is co-editor of Nepal, a Shangri-La? Narratives of Culture, Contact, and Memory, and Kavya: Representative Nepali Poetry in English. He is also co-author of Business Communication: Theory and Practice. His research interests include communication across cultures and languages, refugee literacies, Non-western rhetorics, and South Asian diaspora writing. In addition to his teaching and research on English rhetoric and composition, he also occasionally writes and translates poems and short stories in both English and Nepali. He is an associate professor of Rhetoric and Language at the University of San Francisco (USF) and teaches Cross-cultural Business Communication, Global Rhetorics, and English Rhetoric and Writing courses in both graduate and undergraduate programs. He also belongs to a faculty-led human rights group at USF and has co-edited a special edition of a human rights and social justice-based journal, Peace Review: The Global Refugee Crisis.
