- Yearly Donation: Any individual can support a student by donating NPR 15,000 per year (or the equivalent amount in USD to HimalEd Foundation, USA). This contribution ensures that a student receives consistent educational support from the time of selection until high school graduation.
- This is a multi-year commitment, typically lasting 5 to 7 years, depending on the student’s grade level at the time of selection.
- Donors will receive an annual donation receipt from HimalEd Foundation, which is tax-exempt under U.S. law.
- Each year, donors will be updated on the student’s progress and the impact of their support.
- Lifetime Donation Opportunity: For those who wish to make a lasting impact, we offer a one-time lifetime donation of NPR 300,000 (or equivalent in USD). This fund will be deposited in a financial institution in Nepal/the US to accrue interest, which will be used annually to support scholarship recipients.
- The interest generated typically provides NRs. 15,000 annually, sustaining the scholarship fund indefinitely.
- This donation becomes part of our Akchaya Kosh—a perpetual education fund aimed at establishing long-term educational infrastructure.
- The donor’s name will be permanently associated with the institution, honoring their legacy and commitment to education.
