Selection Criteria
The selection of scholarship recipients will be carried out by the respective school in close consultation with the teacher staff meeting. This collaborative process ensures that the decision is grounded in firsthand knowledge of students’ academic performance, financial need, and overall character. Once the school has identified the most deserving candidate, the selected student will be required to complete a standardized application form provided by the HimalEd Foundation.
This form is designed to collect comprehensive information, including the student’s demographic background, academic history, socioeconomic status, and other relevant details that support the scholarship evaluation process. Upon submission, the HimalEd Foundation will carefully review the application to verify eligibility and ensure alignment with the foundation’s scholarship criteria. Following this assessment, the foundation will initiate the fund disbursement process, ensuring that the financial support reaches the recipient in a timely and transparent manner. This structured approach not only promotes fairness and accountability but also strengthens the partnership between HimalEd and local schools in advancing educational opportunities for students in need.
